Shamina Israt Tithi is an Earth and Environmental Sciences educator
and researcher based in Queens, New York. She holds a Master of Arts
in Earth and Environmental Sciences from Brooklyn College, CUNY, and
a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of Chittagong.
Her academic and professional work connects environmental science,
sustainability, GIS, soil research, forestry, climate resilience, and
community engagement. As an Adjunct Lecturer at Brooklyn College, she
teaches undergraduate students about dynamic Earth processes while
designing lectures, assignments, interactive labs, and real-world
learning activities.
